Alright so
I need some Gregor the Overlander fanart on my Gallery.
I really did.
So now it's here:D

This is a Warscene, not based off any specific one in the book, with the Rats keeping the Fount (or Regalia, you choose;) Under seige.

Yes that's Bane.
Yes this is before his tail is chopped off.

Okay, we're gonna pretend that I'm not purple, and that I'm not a toaster.
:iconseraphania:
That's pretty amazing. I love the books, and you captured the Bane really well...dang, that is one scary rat. Hope Gregor/Ripred can beat him off.

Oh, and I love the bat's face, it looks really awesome. Great job!

Christian and proud, baby. :3 What else can I say?

Strange how certain the journey
Time unfolds the petals
For our eyes to see
Strange how this journey's hurting
In ways we accept as part of fate's decree
:iconresidentratbitten:
Thanks:D

[Please adopt me! Free cannibalistic rat-creature to a good home! ;m;]

I roleplay too much and secretly believe that Captain Adamas, Prot, Nemesis, Wesker, Chris Redfield, Connor Temple, and an alien live in my closet.

Footara. Bitch.
:iconseraphania:
No problem.

This is seriously in the realm of 'Oh My Ripred Amazing.'
Very little to critique on this one, Bane's face is a bit wolfish, should be more murine. The bat looks like a fox, but this is acceptable if you're referencing off of a fruit bat, or similar.
Background is lovely, I can't do backgrounds to save my life. Emotions portrayed perfectly, once again I find it difficult to show emotions on animals. The brushes, or whatever they are, that you used for the fur, blood, stone, fire, etc. look excellent.
The mm...veins? Is that what they are? On the bat's wings are a bit too contrasted, very sharp edges on those which makes it look a tad sloppy.

Beautiful.

I'm like the energizer bunny, except I run on caffeine and will power.

When you ask yourself on a daily basis, "Is it wrong that I'm amused by this?" then it's probably better not to ask.

There are words in my signature. I AM SO WITTY!

Thanks<3
And yes,
the Bane is actually meant to be wolfish. I need to post my Gnawer bodytype reference on here.
It described the headshapes and bodyshapes of the gnawers as I draw them;
for example, most are drawn as Black (or Roof) rats, Twitchtip and Twirltongue being two examples.

Ripred is always drawn as a norway rat, and so are most of the rats in the armies, as well as Mange and Lapblood.

Bane is drawn as particularly wolfish, though his ears were much smaller than they are here :x

Good Ripred. It's beautiful. I would like to echo the sentiments of t3h-b4n3 about the realms of "Oh My Ripred Amazing" because that was actually what went through my head when I saw it. First thoughts: "Oh My Ripred"

That, of course, is reserved for things that usually warrant a headdesk and things that requite your jaw to be picked up off the floor.

Pretty sure when you can take an image from my head and put it on paper without knowing me (and without having much description to run with-- you're great, SC, and we love you, but it would help if we knew what things looked like from time to time-- because the descriptive element in the book was definitely lacking) it's the latter. Actually, positive. Fantastic.

Not that it really has any weight coming from me, artistically challenged and DevArt-neglecting as I am, but definitely you get a couple favs and a watch. Or whatever the term is.

Ripred bless,

Aya

Think your life sucks? A man's family was drowned while he was helpless to save him. He was trapped in a pit for days without food. He fell from a cliff and was attacked by mites. He survived all these trials, despite his opposition.

His name was Ripred.
